EVA MAE ACKMAN

Eva Mae Ackman, 89, of Robinson, IL, died at 7:10 a.m., on April 22, 2006 at Cotillion Ridge Nursing Center, Robinson. She was born April 1, 1917 in Lawrence County, IL, the daughter of Howard and Beatrice (Shaffer) Potts. She had been a Nurse's Aide at Pana Memorial Hospital and was a member of the Pana and Bridgeport Presbyterian Churches.

Eva married Clarence E. Ackman and he preceded her in death in 1967. She was also preceded in death by her step daughter, Charlene Diver; her son, William H. Ackman; 3 sisters and 2 brothers.

She is survived by by her step son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Joyce Ackman, South Vancouver, WA; her son and daughter-in-law, Larry T. and Wanda Ackman, Robinson; 6 grandchildren, Kathie Hotsenpillar, Robinson, Bill Ackman, Robinson, Melissa Williams, Palestine, Tom Ackman, St. Louis, David Ackman, Nashville, TN, Lori Kummer, St. Louis, her brother, Eldon Potts, Bridgeport; 7 great grandchildren, Tanner Reynolds, Tucker Reynolds, Ben Ackman, Paul Ackman, Katie Williams, Ethan Williams, Billy Smith; and her daughter-in-law, Patricia Ackman, Godfrey, IL.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25th, at the Pana Mound Cemetery. Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson is in charge of the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Foundation, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
