PAUL E. CURTS

Paul E. Curts, 84, of Robinson IL, died at 12:27 p.m. Thursday, November 9, 2006, at Bromenn Hospital in Normal, Il. Paul was employed by the Marathon Pipeline Company, and retired after 42 years. He was a member of the Robinson BPOE Elks 1188, a World War II veteran, serving in the U. S. Army, and a member of the Highland Church of Christ.

Paul was born September 19, 1922, in Bridgeport, IL, the son of Hollie and Theora Miller Curts. He married Lois Gosnell on January 23, 1948 and she survives. He is also survived by his children: Patricia (John) Moore, Bridgeport, IL; Paula Sue (Karl) Szabo, Bloomington, IL, Dan Curts, Bloomington, IL, and John Sidney (Donna) Curts, Mahomet, IL; his grandchildren Eric (Mindy) Fiscus, Nathan Fiscus, Angie (Mike) Gray-Anderson; great-grandchildren Devante Gray, Savion Haywood, Jocelyn Anderson, and Morgan Fiscus; 2 step grand-children; Chris (Janice) Moore and Jill Moore, Bridgeport; step great grandchildren; Baelee, Mason and Tucker Moore, Bridgeport; and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived is his sister, Jesse Dekau, Cocoa Beach, FL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and three sisters.

He was a loving husband, father, grandpa, great-grandpa and uncle. He will sadly be missed by his family and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 11th from 12:00 - 2:00 P.M. at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson with services following at 2:00 P.M. Burial will be in the Robinson New Cemetery. Rev. Karl Russell Roberts is in charge of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Highland Church of Christ in Robinson with envelopes at the funeral home.
