LARRY DEMAROIS

Larry Demarois, 64, of Robinson, IL, died at 11:20 a.m. Monday, May 22, 2006 at Deaconess Hospital, Evansville, IN. He was born December 4, 1941 in Louisville, KY, the son of George Demarois and Jenell (Hawk) Demarois. He graduated from Robinson High School in 1959. He served in the U. S. Air Force for 20 years and served 2 tours in Vietnam. He was Past Commander of the Scott Air Force Base V. F. W.

He married Rose Reade July 1974 and she preceded him in death July 17, 1993. He was also preceded in death by his parents; and 2 brothers, Bobby and Bill Demarois.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Jamie and Toby Remlinger, Robinson; 4 step-children and their spouses, Carol and Danny Miller, Robinson, Wanda and Tony Walker, Philcampbell, AL, Karen Curtis, Hutschinson, MN, Kevin Peach, Centralia, IL; 3 grandchildren, Cameron, Carissa, and Tierni; several step grandchildren; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Pat and Robert Hawkins, Hutsonville, and Debbie and Bob Klemm, Genoa, IL; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 27, 2006 at the Washington Street Cemetery, Casey, IL with Pastor Mike Irvin officiating. The Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children with envelopes available at the funeral home.
