Maryanna Eveland, 75, of Atwood, IL, formerly of Palestine, IL, died at 6:30 a.m. Thursday, September 07, 2006 at Kindred Hospital, Sycamore, IL. She was born June 14, 1931 in Robinson, IL, the eighth child of Ralph and Ena Mae Nethery.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, Warren Nethery, William Nethery, Wayne Nethery; and 1 sister, Mildred Nethery.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert L. Eveland, Atwood, IL; her 4 sons, Robert Eveland, Jr. and his wife, Kathy Stafford, VA, Douglas Eveland and his wife, Diana, Tuscola, IL, Peter Eveland, Tuscola, IL, Erin Eveland, Champaign, IL; 5 grandchildren, Jeremy Eveland, Tuscola, IL, Robert Eveland III, Stafford, VA, Sean Eveland, Tuscola, IL, Virginia Eveland, Manassas, VA, and Roger Eveland, Champaign, IL; 3 brothers and sisters-in-law, Wendell Nethery, Springfield, IL, Bob and La Rae Nethery, Oblong, IL, and John and Anne Nethery, Palestine; IL.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, September 9, 2006 at Goodwine Funeral Home, Palestine, IL. Graveside services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Shriner's Hospital, Memphis, TN with envelopes available at the funeral home.
