SANDRA A. HAMILTON

Sandra A. Hamilton, 48, of Robinson, IL, died at 8:45 a.m. Friday, August 25, 2006 at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson. She was born October 15, 1957 in Nashville, TN, the daughter of Melvin Sanderson and Margaret Andrews Sanderson. She was a First Assist Surgical Nurse in Nashville, TN and a Correctional Officer at Lawrence Correctional Center, Lawrenceville, IL since 2000. She was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church, Robinson and A.F.S.C.M.E. Local #3600.

She married Rick Hamilton September 11, 1996 and he survives. She is also survived by her son, Jeff Ratkovich, Cary, IL; her step-daughter and her husband, Amber and Kyle Harmon, Robinson; her sister and brother-in-law, Teresa and Jeff Ward, Nashville, TN; her 3 brothers and sisters-in-law, Randy and Betty Sanderson, Nashville, TN, Mike Sanderson and Connie Webber, Nashville, TN, Bobby Sanderson, Nashville, TN; 2 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Linda Sanderson.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 28, 2006 at Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson with Rev. Tom Akers officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, rural Annapolis. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, August 27th. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association with envelopes available at the funeral home.
