MYRON LEE "BING" HENRY
Myron Lee "Bing" Henry, 83, of Robinson, IL, died Sunday, August 20, 2006 at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, IN. He was born June 5, 1923 in Lawrenceville, IL the son of Charles Myron Henry and Ella Lavina (Parker) Henry. He was a caster at the Case Pottery for 16 years retiring in 1987. He served in the U. S. Navy Air Force during WWII, serving on the U. S. S. Lexington in the Pacific. He also was a member of the Robinson Highland Baptist Church and the Robinson V. F. W. Post #4549.
He married Mary L. Antonine on December 8, 1971 and she survives. He is also survived by 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Paul and Donna Henry, Sumner, William Lee and Jan Henry, Vincennes, IN, Raymond A. and Karen Hunt, Grand Forks, ND; 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Paul Henry in 1989.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 22nd at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Rev. Jerry McDaniel is in charge of services. Burial will be in the Robinson New Cemetery at a later date. Visitation is from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the Children's Home, Carmi, IL with envelopes available at the funeral home.
