ZELLA M. HIGHSMITH

Zella M. Highsmith, age 83 of Robinson, IL, died at 4:47 p.m. June 27, 2006 at her residence. She was born April 10, 1923 in Flat Rock, IL the daughter of Everett Seaney and Minnie Taylor Seaney. She was a member of the Highland Avenue Baptist Church. She was a long time employee of the Robinson Daily News.

Zella married J. D. Highsmith on 03/29/1942 and he preceded her in death on January 26, 1994. She was also preceded in death by parents; and 1 infant daughter.

She is survived by her son, Dr. Greg Highsmith, Jasper, IN; 2 grandchildren, Kami Highsmith, Fishers, IN and Kyle Highsmith, Jasper, IN; and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 30, 2006 at Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson with Rev. Jerry McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow in the Robinson New Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, June 29th at the funeral home.
