DONNA L. MAXEY

Donna L. Maxey, age 6, of Flat Rock, IL died after a long battle with cancer at 2:12 p.m. Monday, August 14, 2006 at St. Louis Children's Hospital, St. Louis, MO. She was born September 3, 1999 in Robinson, IL, the daughter of Philip M. Maxey and Jill Cheryl (Schultz) Maxey. She was a student in Mrs. Mendenhall's kindergarten class at Washington School, Robinson.

She is survived by her parents; her sister, Samantha Jane Connely, Flat Rock; her paternal grandmother, Dorothy Louise Jenkins, Olney; her maternal grandmother, Huberta J. Schultz, Flat Rock; 4 aunts and uncles, Rebecca and Randy Burris, Cape Girardeau, MO, Mary and Bob Klebe, Springfield, IL, Carol and Larry Schoffstall, Arthur, IL, Barb and Ted Kronas, Mahomet, IL; cousins, Brandy Rahmat, Stacey Schultz, Faryn and Brett Klebe; and several other cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Millard Schultz, and Don Maxey; and 2 uncles, James and David Schultz.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 19, 2006 at Goodwine Funeral Home, Flat Rock, IL. Burial will be in the Pollard Cemetery, rural Pinkstaff, IL. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm. Friday, August 18th. Memorials may be made to Hope Lodge, St. Louis, MO run by the American Cancer Society, or to the St. Louis Children's Hospital, St, Louis, MO with envelopes available at the funeral home.
