MAXINE MIKEWORTH

Maxine Mikeworth, 86, of Robinson, IL, died at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2006 at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson. She was born September 13, 1920 in Robinson, IL the daughter of Thomas Earl Ducommon and Minnie Mae (Meek) Ducommon. She was employed by Ettlebrick Shoe Company in production for several years. She was a member of the Robinson First United Methodist Church, Robinson Women of the Elks Lodge #1188, and Crawford Memorial Hospital Auxiliary where she served for several years as a Pink Lady.

She married Donald E. Mikeworth February 4, 1939 and he preceded her in death January 23, 1999. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Dorothy Kinney; and a brother, Ray Earl Ducommon.

She is survived by 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Sue A. and Rex E. Fox, Franklin, TN, Janez and John L. Tracy, Robinson; 6 grandchildren and their spouses, Donald E. and Sheila Tracy, Palestine, John Martin and Jenny Tracy, Robinson, Teresa and Clay Morgan of Nashville, TN, Brad and Alicia Fox, Franklin, TN, Marsha Wright and Alisha Wright, Robinson; 4 great grandchildren, Chrissy Tracy, New Port Richey, FL, Jacob Tracy, Palestine and Nikki Tracy, Flat Rock, Ryan Morgan, Nashville, TN; and 1 great great granddaughter, Chele' Dunlap, Flat Rock; her sister, Lucille Chamblin, Clarksville, IN; a half brother, Danny Ducommon, Kentucky; a half sister, Ethel Lee, Zingg, MI; and her faithful dog, Benji.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 23, 2006 at Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson with Rev. David Ducommon and Rev. Max Borah officiating. Burial will be in the Robinson New Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, September 22nd at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Crawford County Nutrition Center and the Crawford Memorial Hospital Auxiliary with envelopes available at the funeral home.
