KEITH MITCHELL
Keith Mitchell, 57 of Robinson, IL, died at 1:55 p.m. Saturday, August 5, 2006 at the Veteran's Hospital in Danville, IL of a heart condition. He was born July 24, 1949 in Oblong, IL, the son of Earl Lachenmayr and Barbara Ikemire Lachenmayr. Keith drove a truck for Brownfield Feed for over 10 years. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict and was a member of the Robinson American Legion Post #69, the Robinson V. F. W. Post #4549, and the Disabled American Veterans. He was also a member of the Highland Avenue Baptist Church in Robinson.
He is survived by his daughter, Lori Hodge of Robinson; his two grandsons, Tyler Skidmore and Levi Hodge; 3 brothers and sisters-in-law, Steve and Barbara Lachenmayr, Robinson, Dave Lachenmayr, Robinson, Don and Barbie Lachenmayr, Robinson; 2 sisters and brother-in-law, Mary and John Guyer, Robinson, Janie Thackrey, Robinson; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 sisters in infancy.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 9th at 10:00 a.m. at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Pastor Randy Mullinax is in charge of services. Burial is in the Prairie Cemetery, rural Oblong. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Military graveside services will be conducted by the combined units of the Robinson V. F. W. Post #4549, the Robinson American Legion Post #69, the Amvets Post #33, and the Flat Rock American Legion Post #132.
