BARBARA JEAN PORTERFIELD

Barbara Jean Porterfield, 59 of Robinson, IL, died at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute, IN Tuesday, October 31, 2006. She was born August 3, 1947 in Joliet, IL, the daughter of Allen and Agnes Neal Porterfield.

Barbara was employed at Victor-Dana for 24 years prior to a medical retirement in 2002. She was a member of the Robinson V. F. W. Post #4549 Women's Auxiliary and a member of the Union Local #2293.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and John Willson, Robinson; 2 grandchildren, Kelsie and Karlee Willson, Robinson; her mother, Agnes Porterfield, Wilmington, IL; 2 brothers and a sister and their spouses, Richard "Butch" and Sandy Porterfield, Frankfort, IL, Lesley "Peanut" and Charles Jackson, Wilmington, Douglas and Reba Porterfield, Custer Park, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and her son, Chad Aaron Latham.

Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 3rd at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Visitation is from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. preceding the service. Graveside will follow on Sunday, November 5th at the Oakwood Cemetery in Wilmington, IL.
