CHARLES "LARRY" RICH
Charles Larry Rich, 72, of Robinson, IL, died at 11:29 a.m. Thursday, September 14, 2006 at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson after a long battle with cancer. He was born July 26, 1934 in Robinson, the son of Clyde Rich and Hilda Irene (Beard) Rich.
He was a veteran in the Korean War, serving as a staff sergeant in the U. S. Air Force under General Curtis LeMay. He attended area schools and acted in several plays at the Robinson High School. He had been employed as a Highway Engineer in Nebraska.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah; 6 children, Boyce Clyde, John Douglas, Charles Larry Jr., Melissa Kemper, Mary Beth Strumbaugh, and Michelle Razzerman; 18 grandchildren; nieces and nephews; a sister and brother-in-law, Faith and Glen White, Robinson.
There will be visitation from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, September 17th at Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson. A graveside service will be held at a later date in the Old Rich Cemetery, rural Flat Rock, IL. Memorials may be made to the Larry Rich Family Memorial Fund with envelopes available at the funeral home.
