NORMA LEE SHAFFER

Norma Lee Shaffer, 75, of Robinson, IL, died at 2:15 p.m. Saturday, June 3, 2006 at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, IL. She was born January 28, 1931 in Newton, IL, the daughter of Elda O'Dell and Clista (Cummins) O'Dell. She worked in electronics manufacturing. She was a member of the Prairie Grove Baptist Church.

She married Robert E. Shaffer June 26, 1948 and he preceded her in death July 17, 2003. She was also preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her mother, Clista O'Dell, Robinson; 2 sons and her daughter-in-law, Robert D. and Carolyn Heinzman-Shaffer, Bakersfield, CA and Stephen E. Shaffer, Portland, OR; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 4 brothers, Olen O'Dell, Cape Girardeau, MO, Gary O'Dell, Robinson, Bill O'Dell, Flat Rock, Jake O'Dell, Robinson; 6 sisters, Jean Parkes, Robinson, Alice Watson, Palestine, Lulu Finney, Oblong, Darlene Schuchmann, Springfield, Donna Binder, Robinson, Twyla Boa, Robinson; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at a later date in the Eternal Hills Memorial Garden, Klamath Falls, Oregon. The Davenports Chapel of Good Shepherd, 6420 S. 6th. St, Klamath Falls, OR is in charge of services in Oregon. The Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson was in charge of local arrangements.
