MILDRED JUANITA SHAW

Mildred Juanita Shaw, age 92 of Palestine, IL, died at 11:00 p.m. May 1, 2006 at United Methodist Village, Lawrenceville, IL. She was born February 27, 1914 in Wabash County, IL to Allen and Laura (Weisenberger) Crackel. She was a homemaker and a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church, Lawrenceville, IL.

Mildred married Marshall Shaw on 9/28/1940 and he preceded her in death December 1, 1996. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, George Edward Crackel.

She is survived by her brother, Walter "Mel" Crackel, Lawrenceville, IL; and 2 sisters-in-law, Martha Crackel, Clifton Forge, VA and Lorene Westfall, Vincennes, IN.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 19, 2006 at the Pleasant View Cemetery, rural Palestine with Pastor Michael Laflin officiating. The Goodwine Funeral Home, Palestine is in charge of arrangements.
