SHARON JEAN SMITH

Sharon Jean Smith, 62 of Nashville, TN, formerly of Robinson and Marion, IL, died at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at H.Q.M. of Nashville, TN. She was born April 3, 1944 in Centralia, IL, the daughter of Clarence Merrill Smith and Beulah Ethel Shook Smith. She was a telephone operator for 40 years for GTE and Verizon Telephone Companies.

She is survived by her mother, Beulah E. Shook, Nashville, TN; her brother, Randell Smith, Nashville, TN; her sister, Janet Wright, Nashville, TN; and her nephew, Jason M. Smith, Racine, WI.

She was preceded in death by her father; and 1 brother, Gary Smith.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 5, 2006 at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson. Burial will be in the Robinson New Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. Sunday preceding the services at the funeral home
