HAROLD E. TALLEY

Harold E. Talley, 89, of Robinson, IL, died at 6:28 p.m. Monday, August 14, 2006 at his residence. He was born September 12, 1916 in LaMotte Township, IL, the son of Willard C. Talley and Maude Wilson Talley. He was a Shell Distributor and circulation manager at the Robinson Daily News. He was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church, Robinson, American Legion Post #69, Robinson, V. F. W. Post #4549, Robinson, Elks Lodge #1188, Robinson, Masonic Lodge #250, Robinson, and Danville Consistory.

He married Lucille M. McCoy on July 23, 1938 and she preceded him in death November 8, 2002. He was also preceded in death by his parents; his son, Steven Alley Talley June 28, 2005; 2 brothers, Norris Talley and Warren Talley; and 1 sister, Dorothy Lycan.

He is survived by his sister-in-law, Margaret Talley, Robinson and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no services or visitation. Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson is in charge of arrangements.
