RICHARD "RICK" GILBERT WEAVER

Richard "Rick" Gilbert Weaver, 54, of rural Palestine, IL, died at 1:40 p.m. Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes, IN. He was born March 18, 1952 in Palestine, IL, the son of Norman Richard Weaver and Mary Lake Weaver. He worked in production at Hershey for 33 years. He was a member of the Fort LaMotte Rangers and the New Hebron Church of Christ.

He married Brenda Hand July 25, 1975 and she survives. He is also survived by his son, Eric Weaver, Hutsonville; his daughter, Alisha Weaver, Palestine; his mother, Mary Weaver, Oblong; his brother and sister-in-law, Gerald and Patty Weaver, Oblong; his 4 sisters and brothers-in-law, Debra and Mark Wampler, Robinson, Terecia Hall, Indianapolis, Lisa and Andy Mabery, Oblong, Amy and Bob Duzan, Robinson; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father; and his brother-in-law, Elmer Hall.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 4th at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson with Rev. Mark Graybiel officiating. Burial will be in the White Oak Cemetery, rural Oblong. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday, November 3rd at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society with envelopes available at the funeral home.
