Bonnie Kay Beatty

Bonnie Kay Beatty, 55, of Jewett, IL, died at 12:50 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 in the comfort of her home. She was born September 29, 1960 in New Orleans, LA, the daughter of Sydney Melvin King & Ruth Apperson King, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a brother, and by her daughter, Heather Sue. She married Mike Beatty on September 29, 1984 and he survives. She is also survived by her daughters, Stephanie Lynn & Cathy Jo; by a number of grandchildren; by her sisters, Becky, Cindy, Ruthie, and Barb; as well as several nieces and nephews. Bonnie lived a very active life. She enjoyed crafting, having made key chains, bracelets, and hats, among other items. She also enjoyed fishing, a past time she enjoyed alongside her husband, Mike. She will forever be remembered for her love of animals. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6th at the Olive Branch Cemetery, rural Annapolis, IL, with Pastor Steve Willis officiating the service. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson, IL is in charge of arrangements.
