Carol Tedford Hintz

Carol D. Tedford Hintz, died on February 19, 2015 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She was born in Robinson, IL, June 24, 1937. She was the daughter of Robert Fred and Cleo Tedford. She was employed as manager for Western Union and was a tax accountant. She loved to garden and was a member of several garden clubs, a member of Bridge House, and a volunteer at Mid-Western Science Museum. She was a member of the Oaklawn United Methodist Church in Hot Springs. She is survived by her two sisters, Jean Osborn, O’Fallon, IL, formerly of Pana, and Anita Goldsmith, Middletown, NY, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry Hintz; 2 brothers, Charles and Mack Tedford; and a sister, Mary Lou Mills. A memorial service will be conducted at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Flat Rock, IL, Saturday, May 16th at 10:30 a. m. with Rev. Chris Quick in charge. Burial will follow in the Morea Cemetery, rural Palestine. Memorials may be sent to the Oaklawn United Methodist Church, Hot Springs AR, or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
