Clarence L Hancock

Clarence L. Hancock, 68, of Palestine, IL, died at 5:00 p.m. (E.S.T.) Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes, IN. He was born July 2, 1943 in New Kensington, PA, the son of Clarence Hancock and Margaret Ostroski. He drove truck for Tuttle Grain; was manager of the warehouse for Sears and worked in the oil field both in Prudhoe Bay, AK. He served in the U. S. Army in Germany.Clarence married Susie Garrard on July 23, 1982 and she survives. He is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Angie Hancock, Palmer, AK; 5 grandchildren, Ariele, Joan, Haley, Hannah and James; his sister and brother-in-law, Sandy and George Adams, New Kensington, PA; his niece and nephew.Clarence was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Henry Hancock.Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 2012 at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Palestine.
