Donna Rae Wait

Donna Rae Wait, 71, of Robinson, IL, died at 11:35 p.m. (E.S.T.) Monday, August 1, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes, IN. She was born January 16, 1940 in Annapolis, IL, the daughter of Hosie Lockhart and Fern McCrory Lockhart. She was a homemaker and was a member for over 35 years of the New Hope Baptist Church, Robinson.Donna married Wilfred €œBill€ Wait on May 5, 1962 and he survives. She is also survived by her 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Lori and Brice Butcher, Flat Rock and Amy and Kieth Trimble, Montrose; her son and daughter-in-law, Troy and Julie Wait, Robinson; 8 grandchildren; 2 brothers and her sister-in-law, Leland and Myrtle Lockhart, Robinson, and Dale Lockhart, Ansonia; 2 sisters and her brother-in-law, Cathy and Chuck Hall, Robinson and Alice Lockhart, Robinson.She was preceded in death by her parents.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 5th at the New Hope Baptist Church, Robinson with Pastor George Meese officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery, rural Palestine. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 4th at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson and from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the New Hope Baptist Church preceding the services. Memorials may be made to the Oblong Christian Children€™s Home or to the March of Dimes with envelopes available at the funeral home.
