Edna M. Summitt

Edna M. Summitt, 92, of West Union, IL, died February 14, 2021, at Marshall Rehabilitation and Nursing in Marshall, IL. She was born May 14, 1928, in Ohio County, KY, the daughter of David Leslie Hurt & Madge (Hoover) Hurt, both of whom preceded her in death. She married Calvin Kedrick Summitt on October 18, 1957, and he preceded her in death on June 26, 1998. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Darrell Hurt, and by her son, Dennis L. Kelley. She is survived by her son, Ronald L. Kelley (West Union, IL) and by 5 grandchildren. It was Edna's wish to be cremated without public services. The Prust-Hosch Funeral Home in West Union is in charge of arrangements.
