Georgia Ann Correll

Georgia Ann Correll,73, of Heathsville, IL died at 9:36 p.m. on Friday, December 22, 2017 at Heritage Health, Robinson, IL. She was born on January 4, 1944 in Russellville, IL, the daughter of George Wilber & Helen (Burress) Wilber, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her son, Jason Correll; and by her sisters, Carolyn Sue Rainy and Naomi Hawkins. She survived by her sons, Jerry McKimmy (Flowery Branch, GA) and David Woods (Palestine, IL); by her granddaughters, Jenna Correll (Greenwood, IN) and Grace Correll (Palestine, IL); by her siblings, Nadine Frazier (Lawrenceville, IL), Karl Wilber (Flat Rock, IL), Betty Edgar (Gilbert, AZ), David & Cindy Wilber (Flat Rock, IL) and Kay & Tim Woodward (Lawrenceville, IL); by her brothers-in-law, Ed Rainy (AZ), and Ken Hawkins (Flat Rock, IL); as well as 22 nieces and nephews. Georgia was a member of the United Grace Methodist Church. She will be remembered for her love of sewing and for her many years of volunteerism at the Palestine Food Pantry. A time of visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 28th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine. As per Georgia’s wishes, cremation will follow, with a memorial service to be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Palestine Food Pantry, with memorial available at the funeral home.
