Kenneth R Murdock

Kenneth Ray Murdock, 65, of Palestine, died at 6:45 p.m. on Sunday, December 8, 2013 in his home. He was born September 5, 1948 in Robinson, the son of Raymond Perry Murdock & Wanda Louise Harris. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Palestine AmVets Post #33. He worked for the pallet factory south of Trimble for a time.He is survived by his mother, Wanda Murdock & step-father Clifford Richard Murdock (Palestine); his sisters, Shirley Miller (Hardinville), Carol Sue Miller (Robinson); Rita Henderson & husband Skip (Palestine); his brother, Gary Murdock & wife Jackie (rural Robinson); as well as several nieces & nephews.He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Murdock.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 11th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine, with Pastor Paul Gray to officiate the service. Burial will be in the Palestine Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memories and condolences may be shared at .
