Lisa M. Myers

Lisa M. Myers, 65, of Palestine, IL died at 9:40 p.m. (EST) on Friday, April 4, 2014 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN. She was born July 9, 1948 in Palestine, the daughter of Roy Higgins & Margaret Deloris VanOver. She retired from Victor Dana after 31 years of service. Lisa loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Palestine. She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Brandi & Mike Benton (Palestine, IL); her grandchildren, Tony Murdock and Abbye Murdock; her step-son, David Myers; her brother & sister-in-law, Jim & Kay Higgins (Tuscola, IL); one niece; and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 9th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine, IL. Burial will follow in the Palestine Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8th at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Murdock Education Fund, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
