Phyllis Annette King, 73, of Robinson died at 9:32 p.m. on July 6, 2013 in the comfort of her home. She was born November 26, 1939 in Robinson, the daughter of Dan William Lloyd, Sr. & Lucille Mullins. She graduated Robinson High School in 1958. Phyllis loved the Lord, and was very involved with the Congregational Christian Church in Porterville, where she played piano for many Sunday evening services. She also loved singing gospel music during revivals. Her passion was ministering to the youth and to the military, and she did this for many years.Phyllis married Jerry Lee King on August 17, 1958, and he survives. She is also survived by her mother; her children & their spouses, Karrie & Todd Avery (Warner Robins, GA), Kolen & Cathy King (Carlyle, IL), Kolinda & Tom Duer (College Grove, TN); her grandchildren, Johnathan & Amanda Avery, Mandalynn & Jake Griffeth, Tiffany Avery, Hannah Avery, Talisha & Aaron Nyman, Kevin King, Spencer King, Elizabeth & Frank Smith, Alyssa & Sidney Roberts, Victoria Duer; her great-grandchildren, Evan, Hadley, and Shilah; her brothers and sisters, Danny Bill & Bobbie Lloyd (Del Rio, TX), Merle Cochran (Robinson, IL), Jack & Pat Lloyd (Del Rio, TX), Darlene & Jerry McQuaid (Robinson, IL); as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, her father-in-law & mother-in-law, Ermal & Alice King, and her brother-in-law, Danny Cochran.A celebration of her life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 10th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson with Rev. Jerry McDaniel officiating the service. Burial will be in Grand Prairie (Eaton) Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held from 9:00 until service time at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Memorials may be made to the Oblong Children€™s Home, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
