Anita €œNanny€ Holubek, age 71, of Robinson died at 10:48 p.m. (E.S.T.) on September 25, 2011 at the Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. She was born December 2, 1939 in Chicago, IL to Allen and Hertha (Motta) McKay. Nanny was a schoolbus driver for 25 years for the Robinson School District and was the lunchroom supervisor for Robinson High School for 10 years. She was also a member of the Elks, the V.F.W. Auxiliary, and the Eagles.Nanny married Tom Holubek on July 12, 1958 and he preceded her in death on September 10, 1996. She was also preceded in death by her parents.She is survived by her three children: her two sons, Tom Holubek (Greenville, IL) and David Holubek (Robinson, IL) and her daughter and son-in-law, Linda & Jim Shaffer (Robinson, IL); five grandsons and their spouses, Jimmy & Amber Shaffer, Chris & Michelle Shaffer, Nick Shaffer and his fiancee, Lauren Midgett, T.J. Holubek III and his fiancee, Lindsey Mundhenk, and Ryan Holubek; four granddaughters, Tiffany & Jacob Griffin, Erica & Adam Herr, Nikkol Holubek and Stacey Holubek; 11 great-grandchildren, Blaze, Breeze, Bentley, and Lyllah Shaffer, Jadyn Holubek, Alana and Evan Herr, Emily, Gabriel and Victoria Griffin, Brandon Mundhenk, as well as twin great-grandchildren due in March; her special friend of ten years, Harry De Belle; her sister and brother-in-law, Joan & Edward McNamara (Chicago); as well as several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 30th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson with Pastor Shane Bopp officiating services. Burial will be in the Grand Prairie/Eaton Cemetery, rural Robinson. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 29th at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to The Crawford County Relay for Life.
