She also worked at Crawford Memorial Hospital for a time before dedicating her life to raising a family. At home, her talents as a seamstress and artist were always apparent, as was her skill in the kitchen. Her family will long remember Sundays at the dinner table with her tasty pot roast and desserts, which will always hold a special place in their memories. She also took part in the Women’s Missionary Union for many years, and was a member of Hettie Cole Mission Circle. She truly lived a good and fulfilling life. Her legacy will live on through her beloved family and church family. A time of visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 26th at the Flat Rock First Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 27th at the church with Revs. Milton Bost & Dan Johnson officiating the service.
