Anthony “Tony” Wayne McDaniel, 52, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away at 12:39 p.m. (EST) on Friday, July 25, 2014 at the Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born September 7th, 1961 in Vincennes, IN, the son of Terry and Wilma (Norton) McDaniel. He worked in many different positions in the restaurant business. He was an avid Dolly Parton devotee, as well as an Indianapolis Colts fan. He was a lifelong member of the First Christian Church in Palestine. Survivors include his parents, his sister Terri Fuller and husband Mark of Palestine, sister Sherri Massie and husband Mike of Greenwood IN, brother Roger McDaniel and wife Sherri of Robinson, nieces Ashlee Massie and Kelsey McDaniel, nephews Christopher Massie, Brant & Sierra Fuller, Jacob McDaniel, Jackson McDaniel; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, aunts and uncles. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 30th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine, with Pastor Dennis Steckley officiating. Burial will follow at the Palestine Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation from 4:00pm-7:00pm on Tuesday, July 29th at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the choice of the donor; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
