Audrey Nell Boyd

Audrey Nell Boyd, 89, of Robinson, IL died at 12:39 am (EST) on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana. She was born October 5th, 1923 in Decker Township in Richland County, the daughter of Glen and Clarissa (Parsons) Bourne. She retired from L.S. Heath & Sons, having worked as a line operator for many years. She belonged to the Kirk Chapel Church. Audrey loved gardening and was an avid antique collector.Audrey married Loyal Boyd on November 24th, 1943 and he survives. Also surviving are their sons & daughters-in-law, Dale & Terri Boyd (Chatham, IL) and Don & Rosebud Boyd (Robinson); 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; her sister & brother-in-law Freda & Don Foll (Noble, IL); her brothers-in-law, Harold & Wanda Boyd (Robinson) and Ward & Deloris Boyd (Robinson) as well as many nieces & nephews.Audrey was preceded in death by her parents.Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, September 14th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson with Pastor Sheila Ducommon and Brandon Boyd officiating. Burial will follow at the Kirk Chapel Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation preceding the service from 1:00-3:00pm on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Kirk Chapel Church or the Robinson Food Pantry, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
