Austin Matthew Washburn, 15, of Palestine, IL passed away at 5:00 a.m. Friday, January 18, 2013 at the Riley Children€™s Hospital, Indianapolis, IN, surrounded by his family. He was born May 19, 1997 in Terre Haute, IN. Austin loved to play PS3 with his best friend, Josh Nethery and Josh€™s brother, Johnny Nethery. He also loved to hear stories told by his bestest-best friend, Burton Heliene. He also loved to pick on his little brother, Parker, who loves him to the sun and back and always looked up to him.He is survived by his mother, Jessica Irvine, Robinson; his brother, Parker Irvine;his sister, Jadelyn Riggs, West Union; his grandparents, Dave and Maria Washburn, Palestine; his aunts, Lacy Washburn, Casy Castro and Mary Beth Veach; his uncles, David Washburn and Lee Castro; and 10 cousins.Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Palestine with Burton Heleine officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 22nd preceding the services at the funeral home.
