Becky L. Misner

Becky L. Misner, 63, of Robinson, IL went home to be with the Lord on January 15, 2014. She was born in Robinson, IL on August 25, 1950, the daughter of Walter Miller and Vera (Melvin) Miller. Becky accepted Christ at an early age and attended the Oak Grove Federated Church. She was retired and enjoyed fishing, crafting, playing computer games, going out to eat and spending time with her two kids and grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending time with her best friends, Cindy Kincaid and Dee Hobbs. She married James William Misner on July 2, 1972. He preceded her in death on December 14, 2012. Also preceding her in death are her parents and her sister, Melody Mendenhall. Surviving is her daughter and son-in-law, Nikki and Joe Wallace, West Union, IL; a son and daughter-in-law, Dustin and Wendy Misner, Marshall, IL; her four wonderful grandchildren, Alex and Kayla Wallace and Lauryn and Peightyn Misner; her brother and sister-in-law, Farin and Connie Hall, Porterville, IL; a brother-in-law, Leon Mendenhall, Palestine, IL; and several nieces and nephews. Becky also leaves behind her faithful companion, Lucy Mae; her sister-in-law Deloris Nickles, Marshall, IL; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law Kay and Carl Robinson, West Union. Services will be held Sunday, January 19, 2014 at 5PM at Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson, IL with Pastor Scott Mendenhall officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 2-5PM. A private family graveside service will be held at Hutsonville Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Becky Misner Memorial Fund with envelopes available at the funeral home.
