Bernadine Milam

Bernadine Milam, 89, of Oblong, IL, died at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson. She was born May 27, 1922 in Flat Rock, IL the daughter of Henry Lee Milam and Beatrice Parcher Milam. Bernadine is survived by 3 nieces, Nita Bradbury, Robinson, Myrtle Hollingsworth, Martinsville, and Bea Brinkman, Robinson.She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, DeLee Bland; her brother, Lyman Milam; and her step-brother, Hugh Milam.Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 16, 2012 at the Jones Cemetery, rural Flat Rock with Rev. Leonard Waller officiating. The Goodwine Funeral Home, Flat Rock is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Lawrence-Crawford Association for Exceptional Citizens.
