Bernard D Marvin

Bernard D. Marvin, 75, of Waddell, Arizona, formerly of West Union, IL, died Tuesday, December 18, 2012. He was born March 10, 1937. Bernie began life in Gary, IN and grew up on a farm near West Union. He married the love of his life, Lois, in 1955 and shortly thereafter entered the U. S. Air Force. He served his country for 23 years retiring in 1978.He retired a second time from Eaton Corporation in 2002. Bernie and Lois moved to Waddell, AZ in 2005 to be with family.Bernie is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lois. He is also survived by his two son and daughter-in-law, David Marvin, Joe and Sharon Marvin; and his grandchildren, Jared and Megan. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandy in 2004.Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2012 at the Ohio Cemetery, Clark County, IL.
