Bernice I Parrish

Bernice Inez Parrish, 97 of Robinson, IL died at 2:17 A.M. Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson. She was born March 14, 1916 in Willow Hill, the daughter of James Catt and Chloe Edith Neal Catt. She worked for Ettlebrick Shoe Co. and then for Crawford County Convalscent Center in Robinson. Bernice was a member of the Robinson Wesleyan Church.Bernice married Elmer Parrish and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her parents; a grand-daughter, Sylvia Parrish; and 7 brothers and 3 sisters. Survivors include her step son and his wife, Ellis and Joyce Parrish, Mt. Erie; her step grand-daughter, Allison Parrish; a step great grand-daughter, Krystal; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday, September 20th at 11:00 a.m. at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Pastor Dan Szombathy is in charge of services. Burial is in the Robinson New Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 hour preceding the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11 a.m. Memorials may be made to the Robinson Wesleyan Church Building Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
