Betty Frye

Bettie Frye, 89, of Robinson, IL, died on July 13, 2017. She was born April 19, 1928 in Bellair, IL, the daughter of Jessie Scott & Mildred (Goodwin) Scott, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gale Frye on September 24, 2014. She is survived by two sons, Steve Frye (Phoenix, AZ) and Larry Frye (Robinson, IL); by her daughter, Teresa Michelle Frye (Robinson, IL); by her grandchildren, Shawn Frye (AZ), Katie Frye (AZ), and Rylee Kuntz (MT); seven great-grandchildren; by her sister, Patty Ritter (Winchester, MI); as well as several nieces and nephews. A homemaker for much of her life, she was a wonderful wife and dedicated mother. The little free time she had was often spent writing poetry, which will be cherished by her family for years to come. A private family service will take place at a later date. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson is in charge of arrangements.
