Betty Lucille Weaver

Betty Lucille Weaver, 89, of Robinson died Sunday, March 20, 2016 at 1:12pm at Heritage Health in Robinson. She was born October 4th, 1926 in Robinson, the daughter of Floyd and Florence (Whitmer) Weaver who precede her in death. She is also preceded by her sister Florence. Betty graduated from Robinson Township High School, and went on to work as a nurse for Dr. A.W. Allen. She then worked for the Crawford State Bank in the book keeping department for 30 years before retiring. She was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears, even naming her dog of 19 years “Bear”. She enjoyed playing bingo in her later years. She is survived by many cousins, and longtime friend and caregiver Dick Machtley. Graveside funeral services will be held 10:00am on Thursday March 24, 2016 at the Robinson New Cemetery with her cousin Wayne Kirk officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Crawford County Humane Society. Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson is in charge of arrangements.
