Bettye J. Judge

Bettye J. Judge, 89 of Palestine, died at 7:48 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2013 at her home after an extended illness. She was born April 27, 1924 in Palestine, the daughter of David Higgins and Madge Hostetler Higgins. She was employed at the Sugar Bowl as a waitress in Robinson for several years and then was employed by Victor-Dana Co. Bettye married Francis Judge and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her parents, her son, Mark in 2002; a sister Marcella Brohlin; and her brother, Robert Higgins.She is survived by her two daughters and son-in-law, Rae Jean and Robert Bonson, Carmel, IN, and Bobbe Rhoads, Palestine; her son, Klay Judge, Palestine; 4 grandchildren; and 6 great grand-children.Graveside services for friends and family will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, July, 14th at the Palestine Cemetery. Pastor Dennis Steckley is in charge of services. Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine is in charge of arrangements.
