Brenda Kay Liston

Brenda Kay Liston, 63, of Palestine, IL, died at 10:35 a.m. on Thursday, November 27, 2014 at her home. She was born February 28, 1951 in Robinson, IL, the daughter of Ira T. Liston & Wilma J. Hall. She worked many factory jobs over the years, from Fair-Rite to Jakel Motors to Lexel Corp, and worked as a clerk at the Casey’s Gas Station in Palestine for a number of years. Brenda enjoyed fishing and more recently spent her time painting and researching her family’s genealogy. She is survived by her siblings and their spouses, Roger & Tammy Liston (Annapolis, IL), Gloria & Harry Fish (New Whiteland, IN), and Floyd & Ann Liston (Hertford, N.C.); as well as her nieces and nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew in infancy. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 3rd at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine with Celebrant Curt Goodwine officiating the service. A time of visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until service time at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Memorials may be made to the Crawford County Relay for Life or to the Palestine Food Pantry, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
