Brinda “Bailleah” Bree-Anna McKee, age 16, has gained her beautiful angel wings as of Monday, September 18, 2017, due to an automobile accident. She was born on January 24, 2001 in Robinson, IL. She was a freshman at Robinson High School and longed to become a veterinarian to help animals. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Bailleah had touched in a lot of big ways throughout her short, yet very memorable life. Bailleah’s life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her would understand that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Her gentle smile could always melt the hearts of those around her. She was preceded in death by her “Pawpaw”, John McKee; and by her Great-Grandma Boyd. Bailleah is survived by her momma & step-dad, Brinda Daneice & T.J. Benton; by her dad, Randy McKee; by her siblings, Mikaela, Asia, Trevor, Billy, Eli, Cherokee, Creek, and Brandee; along with her 2 brothers-in-law, Casey Davidson, and Buddy Davis. She will dearly be missed by her nieces and nephews: Jaeden Davidson, Gracelynn Davidson, Raegan Davidson, Nevaeh Davis, Jo Jo Davis, Addy Davis, and awaiting baby nephew Davis. She always enjoyed spending time with and nurturing her little ones, just like her aunts and uncles did with her. She is also survived by her 7 aunts & 7 uncles; Lynda & Donnie Pollock, Cristel & Kevin Wesley, Tray & Tammy Powers, Missy Brown and Caleb Ayres, James & Melody Benton, Hope & Troy Meeks, and Alta & Nathan Kearby; by her grandparents, Bill & Brinda Powers (Boyd), Penny (Hedge) and Richard Pollock; as well as many others, including several cousins. Bailleah could spend hours listening to music, sleeping-in late, pulling all-nighters, and hanging out with special friends, especially her boyfriend, Cody Longest, who will hold her close to his heart. We can all imagine that Bailleah will continue to be attached at her momma’s hip while she waits to become a “vegetarian” to help animals, eating her “prentzels” with a “fornk” and plucking off her acrylic nails within 5 minutes after being put on, along with her hair “instintions” while she dances with Jesus in Heaven. A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 23rd at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson, IL. Funeral services will immediately follow and will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bailleah McKee Memorial Fund, with checks made payable to “Goodwine Funeral Homes”. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
