Carol Eileen Mann

Carol Eileen Mann, 83, of Robinson died at 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at the Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson. She was born November 2, 1931 in Robinson, the daughter of Lloyd Francis and Faye (McCarter) Phillippe. Carol worked at Old Union School Cafeteria in Mt. Vernon IL, as well as being a homemaker. She married Richard O. Mann on Oct. 7th, 1951 and he preceded her in death 2010. She was also preceded by her parents, son David Lee Mann, brother Gene Phillippe and wife Pat, brother Nolan Phillippe, and brother-in-law Delain Reynolds. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law Roger Alan & Judy Mann of Salem, and Gary Dale & Lesa Mann of Mt. Vernon, daughters Sharon Denise & Dan Morris of Fairfield, Ohio, and Sandy Jean Jones & special friend Sam Montgomery of Chatham; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and sister, Gloria Reynolds. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 6th, 2014 at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson with Celebrant Curt Goodwine officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday prior to the service from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at the Robinson New Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice with envelopes available at the funeral home.
