Carrington Wesner

Carrington Wesner, 16, died September 2, 2016 in Cumberland Co., IL, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. The daughter of Ronald and Angie (York) Wesner, she was born August 24, 2000, in Robinson, IL. She attended Robinson High School. Carrington enjoyed music and spending time with her friends. She will be forever missed by many. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jamie Wesner, uncle, Shawn York, and great-grandma, Ruth Knoblett. She is survived by her parents (Flat Rock, IL); her brothers, Ronald Wesner, Jr. (Flat Rock, IL), Andy Wesner (Robinson, IL), and Bryan Wesner (Flat Rock, IL); her twin sister, Chloe Wesner (Flat Rock, IL); her paternal grandparents, Leon & Donna Wesner (Flat Rock, IL); maternal grandparents Debbie Knoblett (Robinson, IL) and Terry York (Old York, IL); her nieces, Natalie Wesner, Rhaina Wesner, Azaleigha Wesner and Remington Wesner (Robinson, IL); and her nephews, Cade, Rylan and Gannon Wesner (Robinson, IL). Her uncles; Ricky Wesner (Flat Rock, IL), Brian York (Robinson, IL), and Josh York (Kentucky). She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. A visitation will be held from 4 -7 p.m. on Tuesday September 6th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Flat Rock. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday September 7th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Flat Rock. Memorials may be made to the Carrington Wesner memorial fund with checks made payable to “Goodwine Funeral Home.” Burial will follow at the Jones Cemetery in Flat Rock.
