Charles “Charlie” Price, 64, of Robinson, IL, died at 4:41 p.m. (EST) on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN. He was born March 5, 1951, the son of Leon Lowell Price, Sr. & Elnora Marcine Miller Price. Charlie served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, and was also a longtime and active member of the Robinson V.F.W. Post #4549. He will be remembered for the good times he had with his fellow veterans at the V.F.W., and also for the care he gave to his son and grandchildren. He is survived by his son, Thomas Price, and his fiance, Penny, his grandchildren, Trinity, Arianna, and Nicholas; his brother, Leon “Sunny” Price; his close friend, Mark Osborn, as well as all of his V.F.W. friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents and his close friend, Ralph Turpin. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 4th at the Riverside Cemetery in Newton, IL, with Celebrant Curt Goodwine officiating. Military graveside honors will be given by the Robinson V.F.W. Post #4549.
