Charles H. Moore, 71, of Hutsonville, IL, died at 9:56 a.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at the Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson, IL. He was born February 2, 1946 in Robinson, the son of Francis Lee Moore & Bethel (Crossfield) Moore, both of whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Marilyn Moore, Sonny Moore, Pearl Bolton, Violet Hyatt, Helen Grose, Robert Moore, and Larry Moore; by his grandson, Chase; and by his daughter, Amy Moore on January 13, 2017. He is survived by his son & daughter-in-law, Chuck & Traci Moore (Robinson, IL); by his grandchildren, Jacob, Kent, Chance, and Brantlee; by his sisters, Maxine Cook (Robinson, IL) and Rosemary Badgley (Robinson, IL); as well as several nieces and nephews. Charlie proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1963-1966. Back home, he worked hard as a laborer, and was a member of Labor Local #1280 in Robinson. Away from work, he could be found outside, either hunting or fishing, and spent much of his time at the river. It was Charlie’s wish to be cremated, with a private burial to take place at a later date. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson is in charge of arrangements.
