Charlotte Ann Christensen

Charlotte Ann Christensen, 79, of Marshall, IL, died at 4:35 p.m. on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN. She was born March 29, 1937 in Joliet, IL, the daughter of Russell Farr & Juanita West Farr, both of whom preceded her in death. Charlotte married Curtis Raymond Christensen on January 1, 1960, and he preceded her in death on December 7, 2011. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Timmothy Allen Riggs; by her sisters, Juanita Volmer and Coralee Watts; and by her brother, Edwin Farr. She is survived by her daughters, Terri Ann Christenberr (Marshall, IL), Rebecca Lynn Tolle (Marshall, IL), and Cindy Marie Waite (Marshall, IL); by her grandchildren, Steven Ellis, Christian Ellis, Ashley Ellis, Trudy Philips, Louis Riggs, Edward Waite, Nathan Waite, and Michael Waite; by several great-grandchildren; by her brothers, Bob & wife Diane Creed (Wilmington, IL) and Gary Creed (Florida); by her sister, Ethel Stahl (Rome, GA); by her brother-in-law, Donald Watts (Rockdale, IL); as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends. Charlotte graduated from Lockport High School and went on to waitress for several years. Away from work, she could be found camping or riding quads and also rode motorcycles. She also enjoyed playing euchre. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family, who have lost a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 16th at the York Cemetery (York Twp, IL). The Prust-Hosch Funeral Home in West Union, IL is in charge of arrangements.
