Christopher Larry Harris

Christopher Larry Harris, 60, of Robinson, IL, was found on September 22, 2026, having passed away unexpectedly. He was born on November 29, 1965, in Terre Haute, IN, the son of Cecil Larry "Butch" and Lois (Stephens) Harris, and grew up in the Bellair area, where a boy could spend a whole day outside and never run out of things to do.

He is survived by his children, Dennis L. Dinslage (Giessen, DEU), Russel K. & Natascha Harris (Schöffengrund, DEU), Benjamin A. & Mindy J. Harris (Parkersburg, WV), Jennifer D. Harris (Giessen, DEU), and Megan N. Harris and her mother, Brenda Myer (Robinson, IL); by his grandchildren, Jonas, Koen, Kai, Kora; his sister, Catherine A. & Matthew D. Ping (Flat Rock, IL); by his nephew, Collin D. Ping; and by his niece, Amanda L. & Stanley Kozerski, and their children, Gabriel, Michael, and Valerie. He was preceded in death by his parents as well as many aunts and uncles.

A graveside service officiated by Celebrant Curt Goodwine will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 30th, at the Bellair Cemetery, where military rites will be accorded by the U.S. Army. Seating at the graveside will be limited, so those who wish to sit are encouraged to bring a lawn chair. Memorials may be made to the "Riley Hospital for Children", with envelopes available at the cemetery. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson is assisting the family at this time.
