Colleen Dolan Earleywine

Colleen Dolan Earleywine, 87, of Robinson, died at 6:45 p.m. on Friday, December 19, 2014 at the Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson. She was born May 21, 1927 in Shelbyville, IL, the daughter of M.A. Dolan and Freda Sprague Dolan. She graduated Robinson High School in the Class of 1945. Colleen worked Gordon's Drug Store in Robinson for 19 years and at McCoy Shoe in Robinson for 11 years. She will be remembered as being a very loving daughter, wife, aunt, and friend. Colleen married Charles E. “Chuck” Earleywine on November 28, 1973, and he preceded her in death on May 22, 2004. She was also preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Dwight, Stanley, and Dick; as well as a niece and nephew. She is survived by her brother, Chuck Dolan (Robinson, IL); her sister, Phyllis Richman (Naples, FL); as well as several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23rd at the Palestine Cemetery with Celebrant Curt Goodwine officiating the service. Memorials may be made to the Robinson Academic Foundation, with envelopes available at the cemetery. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine is in charge of arrangements.
