Constance Jean (Wilson) Abbott, 67 of Palestine, IL died March 3, 2014 at 11:14 P.M. in the comfort of her home. She was born October 21, 1946 in Robinson, IL to Glenn E. Wilson and Margaret (Carter) Wilson. Constance worked as an RN at Newton Rest Haven until 2004. She loved fishing, camping and trail riding and was a member of the Palestine Eagles #3329. She married Richard “Bud” Abbott in 1971, and he preceded her in death in 2004. She was also preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her son, James Todd Abbott and his wife Amy (Miller) Tague of Kingman, AZ; two daughters, Tracey Jo and her husband Dan Sonntag, Ann Arbor, MI and Christi and her husband Jim Lee of Kodak, TN; five grandchildren, Amanda Tague, Dustin Tague, Kaila Bates, Erin Lee and Ian Lee; her sister Patty Brenton, Evansville, IN, and her brother Mark Wilson of Palestine, IL; as well as several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at a later date. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine is in charge of arrangements.
