Crystal Claire Miller

Crystal Claire Miller, 78, died at 2:22 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2012 at her home in rural Robinson, IL. She was born November 19, 1933 in Robinson, IL, the daughter of Ashbel York and Helen Hurd York. She worked as a florist for Mitchell Floral, an active member at the Zion United Methodist Church, the Quilt Guild of Robinson, and the Hardinville Community Club. Crystal married Wayne N. Miller on October 17, 1951, and he preceded her in death on June 4, 2008. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Emily and David Bryan, Friendswood, TX; her son, Marvin W. Miller, Tucson, AZ; 5 grandchildren, Jesse Miller, Tucson, AZ, Nicholas, Nathan, Michael and Elizabeth Bryan, Friendswood, TX; and her sister, Aline Alge, Port Clinton, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter Amy L. Miller; and two sisters, Patricia Nicholas and Marge Rusher.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 26th, at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson. Brother Jack Cunningham is in charge of services. Burial will follow in the Robinson New Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Sarah Bush Hospice or to the Zion United Methodist Church with envelopes available at the funeral home.
