D'Andra Lawhead

D'Andra Lawhead, 50, of Robinson, IL, died at 5:07 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2017 due to an undetermined cause of death. She was born April 22, 1966 in Robinson, IL, the daughter of Charles & Bessie (Mendenhall) Hale, both of whom preceded her in death. She married Steven Lawhead on May 19, 2001 and he survives. She is also survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Ben & Sammy Lawhead (Davenport, IA); by her granddaughter, Lily Lawhead (Robinson, IL); by her brother & fiancée, Bill Hale & Carol Garrard (Robinson, IL); by her sister & brother-in-law, Sharon & Bill “Kirk” Kirkham (Cordova, IL); by her niece & nephew-in-law, Kendra & Marc Nenia (Cortland, IL); by her nephews & nieces-in-law, John & Amber Hale (Robinson, IL) and Josh & Amanda Kirkham (Covington, GA); by her great-nieces, Justine Kirkham, Josephine Kirkham, Jenevieve Kirkham, and Margaret Nenia; by her great-nephews Harrison Kirkham and Jack Nenia; by her aunt, Rose Houdasheldt (Oblong, IL); by her parents-in-law, Dona Reynolds (Robinson, IL) and Kenny & Ann Lawhead (Hazel Dell, IL); and brother-in-law, Brian & Nikki Lawhead (Robinson, IL). D’Andra was a 1984 graduate of Robinson High School. She went on to become a night auditor for the Best Western in Robinson and the Clarion Inn in Davenport, IA, where she also worked behind the front desk. Away from work, she enjoyed keeping a home and devoted the last few years of her life to being a grandmother. A time of visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 10th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Funeral services will follow and will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Joe Kunzelman officiating services. Burial will be held at a later date in the Kirk Chapel Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, with envelopes available at the funeral home. Memorials may also be made to the D’Andra Lawhead Memorial Fund, with checks made payable to “Goodwine Funeral Home”.
